Sultanate takes part in London Education World Forum 2013

London ? The Education World Forum (EWF) continued yesterday for the second day in a row, held in the United Kingdom under the heading "Policy-Making for Quantity, Quality and Impact", in which the Sultanate, represented by the Ministry of Education, participates.
There were two sessions yesterday. The third session was entitled "Policies and Structures used and their Impact on the Quantity and Quality of Education.''
The fourth session raised the question "What's changed, and what has been learned in the past year to develop national educational systems?. The fifth and final session will be about "the impact of future policies and structures on quality and quantity of education ".
An educational delegation from Ministry of Education visited a school in the United Kingdom and was briefed on educational aspects related to how to set up test paper, aspects of teacher-teacher training and professional development. The delegation was also briefed on the aspects of the school's evaluation methods to assess the level of students.
The exhibition of educational technology (BETT) was opened yesterday on the sidelines of the conference. A number of companies showcased various modern technical devices, specialising in the areas of education and related aspects.
The Ministry of Education participated with a delegation representing various departments of education in order to broaden participation and opportunity for participants to see the various international experiences in the field of educational technology.
